Islands

The "Islands" is not an official Scotch whisky. It is the area encompassing all whisky-producing Scottish islands except Islay, which is legally recognised as its own distinct region. Though formally classified as part of the Highland region, Islands whiskies can share a broad flavour profile defined by maritime, coastal influences, subtle salinity, and heather-sweet or lightly peated notes.
