Islay

Islay is the "Whisky Island" where the majority of its population are involved in whisky production. Just 40km long, this 600-year-old distilling hub packs 10 working distilleries.  Most famous for heavily peated whiskies, Islay also produces a broad range of excellent non-peated whiskies.
