Inchmurrin 13 year old Thompson Bros

The Thompson Bros. married two casks of Loch Lomond's Inchmurrin single malt for this characterful release. Distilled in 2013, the whisky matured for a total of 13 years in an oloroso hogshead and a refill barrel, yielding an outturn of 553 bottles. Inchmurrin remains one of our favourite spirits due to its often fruity character.

Official tasting Notes:

Nose: Overripe peach, white strawberry, freshly emptied bag of salted peanuts, green apples and sultanas. A touch of salinity balances the sweeter notes.

Palate: Strawberry laces, apricot and Golden Grahams, Kopiko Cappuccino Candy, hazelnut, lime and cashews.

Finish: Fruity and nutty with the oloroso bringing depth to this bright spirit.
