Glen Grant 22 years old Decadent Drams

Distilled at Glen Grant in 2003, this single malt began its maturation with 19 years in a refill hogshead, followed by just over four in a first-fill sherry hogshead. Elegant malt, wrapped up in layers of dark fruit and sherry richness, this cask strength bottling joins the Decadent Drams collection from Decadent Drinks.

Official Tasting Notes

Nose: An immediately rich and pretty seductive sherry profile, loads of easy, plush dark fruits in the form of dates, prunes soaked in Armagnac, sultanas and fig molasses. Also a little dark chocolate and tobacco. 

Palate: Similar focus on luscious dark fruit, soft wood spices, cedar wood, tiny gamey touches and notes of plum wine, aniseed and camphor. 

Finish: Long, on pine wood resins, unlit cigars, rancio, woodruff, dark chocolate and walnut wine.
